While all those who visit Halong Bay are charmed by the archipelago’s beauty, few visitors are aware that the three-thousand islands that dot this bay are home to many rare plants, including species found nowhere else in the world. We chose our boat’s name Halong Ginger because, like the plant it was named after, our junk is perfectly suited to this environment. With its golden sails, polished woodwork and refined, Asian décor, the Halong Ginger offers an unforgettable ambiance of relaxed elegance. Join us, and see Halong Bay in style.

Day 1: Ginger Ha long Cruise ( L, D).

8:30 am :We depart from the capital for Ha Long Bay approximately four hours away. En route we have a short stop at the Sao Dao center run for and by handicapped children for short break.

Welcome o­n board of Halong Ginger and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with Halong Ginger golden sails, go swimming o­n a quiet beach or sunbathing o­n the sundeck. Later afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with opportunity to interact with fish men who have been living in the bay for almost three generations.
At sunset time, kayak or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back o­n board Halong Ginger, enjoy to welcome cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at Ginger restaurant.

Day 2: Halong - Hanoi ( B, L)

Activities:

Beach visit: Opportunity to get to a beach, swimming or hike up for a nice bay view
Fishing village visit: Visit the floating village in the afternoon with exciting way of life
Grotto visit: Visit nice cave with amazing stalactite and stalagmite
Sunrise Tai Chi: Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi class, - weather permitting - on the open-air sundeck.

Kayaking: Explore the bay’s uninhabited islands and sea caverns in our imported Canadian Seaward kayaks.
Cooking classes: Learn more about the ingredients and techniques used to create mouth watering Vietnamese dishes.
Wine tasting: Indulge yourself while sampling fine wines from our extensive selection.
Wedding parties: Celebrate in style, specially designed itinerary for the ideal place to say “I do”.

Child policy:

• Free of charge for children under 5 years old (sharing same cabin with parents). No more than 01 child per cabin.
• The Child Rate for children from 5 to 12 years old is applicable for one child sharing a cabin with two adults
• Children having separate cabins pay the same price as adults.
