Ha Long Bay is located in the northeastern part of Vietnam and constitutes part of the western bank of Bac Bo Gulf, including the sea area of Ha Long City and Cam Pha Town and part of Van Don island district. It abuts Cat Ba Island in the southwest. Toward the west is the shore with a 120 km-long coastline. It is located within 106o58’-107o22’ east longitude and within 20o45’- 20o50’ north latitude. Itinerary

In the morning: Hanoi - Halong bay

This morning you will be met by Open Tour guide at 8 a.m at your hotel for a bus drive 175 km to the East ( 3 hrs ). Along the drive you can enfoy the stunning scenery of the Red River delta with peaceful villages, farmers working in their green fields, herding their water buffalos, flocking their ducks, trading garden herbs by the side of the road. We also make a stop on the half way to stretch our legs, enjoy a coffee or tea… before we continue our trip to Ha Long Bay. Arrive in Ha Long city about 11.30. The tour guide takes you to the boat for cruising Ha Long Bay (4 hours). Seafood lunch is served while the boat cruises the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascapeon the boat

In the afternoon: Halong bay - Hanoi

After lunch, you have a chance to visit two most beautiful caves- Thien Cung cave or the Palace Of Heaven Grotto and Dau Go Cave or Wooden Stake Grotto (- where in 1288 one of Vietnam's most famous Generals Tran Hung Dao amassed hundreds of stakes deep inside the cave prior to a battle with an invading Mongol army) and we take a look at the Floating Village of the fisherman and the Fighting cocks islet.

At about 4.00 pm the boat goes back to Ha Long city and we get on the bus to go back to Ha Noi. We arrive in Ha Noi at about 7.30 pm. Finish tour
