Viewing scenic Ha Long bay with helicopter
Vietnam Helicopter: If you have more money than time, or prefer a double shot of adventure, or for a birth 's eye view of swaying Halong bay , you can go by helicopter. Helicopter service aboard Russian-built MI-8 or MI-17 helicopters is offered on Saturday only. You depart at 8 a.m. from Gialam heliport, about 15 km from center of Hanoi. Free transportation to Gialam heliport from the Metropole Hotel departs at 7:15 a.m. The return flight is at 3 p.m. the same day

Option 1: 1-day Halong Bay tour with round-trip helicopter
Saturday: Hanoi - Halong Bay (L)
Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi in the morning then transfer to Gia Lam Heliport for a scenic flight through Red River Delta to Halong Bay. Enjoy the chance to see Halong Bay from the sky. On arriving in Halong Bay, get on private boat to visit the area. Cruising around to see the amazing karsts with different formations and big cave with strange stalagmite and stalactites. Have lunch with fresh seafood.
At 15:00 take our helicopter for the return flight to Hanoi. Tour end at your hotel.
Option 2: 1-day tour Halong Bay from the sky

11h00: Return to Halong City and have lunch on board.
12h00: Back to Halong wharf and return to Hanoi by car. End the trip.
